Blizzard’s recent Diablo 4 Campfire Chat has delivered the news fans have been waiting for. Alongside much-needed quality-of-life improvements, players can look forward to long-awaited buffs to Nightmare Dungeons, which will alleviate the endgame grind.
Game director Joe Shely revealed that they will increase XP earned from Nightmare Dungeons. The intention is to make these dungeons more efficient than side dungeons, enabling players to level up their characters easier once they complete the campaign.
Additionally, the team announced changes to the way Sigils function. Sigils will now teleport players directly to Nightmare Dungeons when used, creating a convenient Waypoint system that eliminates the need to search for specific areas on the map. This modification will streamline the gameplay experience and make XP farming more effective.
It’s important to note that these features won’t be immediately available but will be gradually implemented before the start of Season 1. The development team expects the first season to launch between mid- to late-July, so players won’t have to wait too long.
