Important resource.

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you can find Toledo Steel at almost every blacksmith in Kuttenberg—and to clarify, we’re talking about the city itself, not the entire region. Most blacksmiths stock at least five pieces at a time, which is usually enough for crafting. If you have the Groschen, you can buy it outright. If not, well… there are other ways.

Where to Find Toledo Steel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Best Locations to Get Toledo Steel

We found three reliable spots for grabbing Toledo Steel, each holding at least five pieces:

  • Armor Shop near the Town Hall – Fast travel to the Town Hall and head north to find it.
  • Blacksmith between the Bathhouse and the Southeastern Gate – This one is easy to find if you follow the main road.
  • Blacksmith near the Western Gate – Just head toward the west entrance, and you’ll spot it quickly.

Of these, the blacksmith near the Southeastern Gate consistently had Toledo Steel in stock. Even better, after buying all five pieces, the blacksmith restocked within a few in-game days.

In our case, each piece of Toledo Steel cost 25.4 Groschen. That adds up fast, so if you’re looking to save money, there’s another method—one that involves a bit of stealth.

How to Steal Toledo Steel

If you check the blacksmith stations, you’ll notice a chest nearby—either next to the forge or inside their home. This chest contains the blacksmith’s inventory, including their stock of Toledo Steel. The downside? These chests are usually Hard or Very Hard to pick, so you’ll need decent lockpicking skills.

If lockpicking isn’t your strong suit, you can pickpocket the blacksmith’s key instead. To do this, find out where they sleep, follow them, and swipe the key when they’re vulnerable. Once you have it, simply unlock the chest and take what you need—no Groschen required.

Why You Need Toledo Steel

While only a few crafting recipes require Toledo Steel, it’s essential if you want to rebuild one of the game’s most powerful swords. Restoring this legendary weapon not only earns you an achievement but also gives you a blade strong enough to carry you through to the final quest.

So whether you buy it fair and square or sneak into a blacksmith’s shop under cover of darkness, make sure you get your hands on some Toledo Steel—you’ll need it.
