Changes on the way.

The forthcoming Season 4 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 will apparently address long-standing player concerns over time-to-kill (TTK), AI presence, and the ability to rejoin matches after disconnections.

That’s according to a recent report from Insider Gaming, which claims the Season 4 update, anticipated on June 14, will introduce an across-the-board increase in player health. Currently set at 100, the base health will be raised to 150, with an additional 150 health obtainable through armor plates.

Warzone 2 Backlash Forces Changes

Warzone 2 has faced criticism from its player community due to the rapidity at which players can be eliminated. Despite the presence of armor and weapon drop-off mechanics in the battle royale, many players argue that engagements are often too brief, leaving them with little chance when they are the first to be spotted by enemies.

This report suggests that the increased base health of 150 will result in a total health pool of 300 for players. Consequently, the time-to-kill will be slowed down, requiring more shots to down and eliminate opponents.

In addition to the speculated health changes, the report states that AI presence in Strongholds will be removed, leading to a reduction in their overall occurrence across Warzone.

Bots found around Strongholds in Al Mazrah have been met with disapproval, as players believe they serve minimal purpose and do not belong in regular multiplayer matches. Strongholds in Warzone provide access to better loot, UAVs, Blacksite Keycards, and custom loadouts.

Finally, the leak suggests that Warzone Season 4 will introduce a rejoin feature, addressing another community concern. Currently, disconnecting from a match is permanent and frustrating for players. With the new feature, players will have the ability to rejoin the same lobby and occupy the same position they involuntarily vacated. This feature already exists in other live-service multiplayer games, such as Rainbow Six Siege.

It is important to approach this information with caution, as all leaks are unconfirmed until officially announced by Activision and Infinity Ward. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, you can explore the early patch notes to learn more about what Season 4 will bring.
