Riot Games has announced that Valorant will be introducing a fresh 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode later this month, and today it’s being showcased for the very first time.
In this new game mode, players will engage in intense 5v5 battles against enemy teams across three bespoke maps, exclusively designed for this mode.
Each game consists of four timed stages, granting players the freedom to select their loadout at the beginning of the game or whenever they are in the spawn room. Throughout the maps, weapon spawners, recovery orbs, and ultimate orbs are strategically placed, while players respawn every 1.5 seconds.
The objective is to amass the highest number of kills, with the first team to reach 100 kills emerging victorious. Take a sneak peek at the new game mode:
The launch of this mode coincides with the release of Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 on June 27. The update also brings forth a range of other improvements.
Valorant’s in-game progression system has been revamped, offering players new avenues to earn rewards. Additionally, a fresh set of daily missions and ‘Checkpoints’ have been introduced as daily milestones. To unlock accessories, participate in agent recruitment events, and more, players can utilize the newly introduced in-game currency, Kingdom Credits.
Fans can expect to receive further details about the upcoming Team Deathmatch mode and other exciting features in the upcoming Valorant update as the official launch date draws near.
