Insomniac Games has officially confirmed that the 10 Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 skins will be exclusively available in the Digital Deluxe Edition and cannot be unlocked through regular gameplay.
The Digital Deluxe Edition features an impressive lineup of skins, including the Tactical Suit, Aurantia Suit, 25th Century Suit, Stone Monkey Suit, Apunnkalyptic Suit, Agimat Suit, Red Spectre Suit, Encoded Suit, Biomechanical Suit, and Tokusatsu Suit.
While this news may disappoint some fans, there is a solution for those who still want to acquire the skins. An optional upgrade will be offered, allowing players to add the exclusive skins to their collection after purchasing the standard edition. It’s hardly ideal, though, given that this sort of content should really be in the base game as well.
For those who don’t mind shelling out the extra dough off the bat, though, the Collector’s Edition, which includes the Digital Deluxe Edition, preorders will become available later today at 10 AM in your local time zone. European readers should note that preorders have already gone live and can be found on PlayStation Direct.
