Gearbox Publishing’s Yoon Im expressed great pride in the Gunfire team and everyone involved in bringing Remnant 2 to life.
“As a commercial and critical hit, we’re incredibly proud of the Gunfire team and everyone here at Gearbox Publishing who brought this title to life.”
The game officially launched on July 25 as a sequel to the well-received 2019 title, Remnant: From the Ashes. Upon release, Remnant 2 garnered positive reviews from critics who praised its numerous improvements over the previous installment, as well as its engaging replayability, gameplay loop, and diverse content.
Though technically a third-person shooter, Remnant 2 adopts gameplay reminiscent of the “Souls-like” genre, presenting players with formidable challenges in the form of various enemies. However, to assist players on their journey, the game provides ample tools and resources. The dynamically generated stages keep the experience fresh, ensuring that no two runs are ever identical.
While the original Remnant: From the Ashes also received favorable reviews, its sequel, Remnant 2, is widely regarded as an even better gaming experience, boasting a plethora of enhancements across all aspects of the game.
In other news, Ubisoft has confirmed the length of its upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
