The First Spirit Boss: The King of Mists
The initial opportunity to gain Spirit is during the Ritual mechanic in Freythorn. Here’s how to tackle it:
- Complete Three Ritual Altars: Explore Freythorn and locate three Ritual Altar sites. Complete each to progress the Ritual storyline.
- Meet Finn: Speak with Finn, who provides context for the Ritual mechanic and guides you forward.
- Prepare for a Two-Phase Boss Fight: The King of Mists is your challenge after the third altar. His first phase is manageable, but in the second, he transforms, regains full health, and ramps up his attacks.
Claim the Gembloom Skull
Upon defeating The King of Mists, you’ll earn the Gembloom Skull, a quest item granting +30 to maximum Spirit. To use it:
