Activision Blizzard has hinted at the possibility of bringing two of its most popular games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) and Diablo 4, to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service as early as next year. Modern Warfare 3 & Diablo Possibly Coming to Game Pass in 2024
In an official statement posted on X, the Activision Blizzard account acknowledged the growing excitement surrounding MW3, stating, “It’s awesome to see anticipation building for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.” They also addressed the burning question of whether their upcoming and recently launched games would be available via Game Pass.
“While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo 4 into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world,” the statement continued. “And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”
Although the Microsoft-Activision merger has not yet received official regulatory approval, the prevailing sentiment among industry insiders and enthusiasts is that it is only a matter of time until the deal is sealed.
