Building in Sons of the Forest offers two choices: custom building to design your own structures or using Blueprints to get started. While custom building allows for creativity, not everything can be built this way. This guide covers all the Blueprints in Sons of the Forest 1.0, from early game blueprints to those later added in patches and the most recent full release. We’ve recently updated this article with more precise information.
Blueprints provide a way to construct storage, traps, and furniture. To access Sons of the Forest Blueprints, press B and hold X to switch to the Blueprints menu. From there, you can select one of the Blueprints you’ve unlocked, which we’ll list below. Most of these are available right from the start of the game, while others (including those most recently added in patches following SotF’s initial launch) need to be located first.
