After convincing everyone that Hans and Henry are messengers, you now find yourself assisting Von Bergow. Your responsibilities include some morally questionable tasks, like torturing someone to gather intel about a group of outlaws. If you’re comfortable with a bit of ruthlessness, you’ll uncover that Olda Semine is involved with the bandits. Though it may be a shocking revelation, it’s not entirely surprising, considering Semine left shortly after his wedding. Now, you must decide whether or not to expose Semine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
The Decision: To Turn in Semine or Not in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Hans will ask your opinion on whether Semine should be turned in, but the real choice arises when you speak with Von Bergow upstairs. The optimal decision is to remain silent about Semine’s involvement. According to the prisoner, Olda Semine is the sole person collaborating with the bandits due to his displeasure with Von Bergow. He claimed that Semine’s allies were unaware of his plans. While Henry tried to defend Von Bergow’s integrity, the prisoner ridiculed that notion.
To conceal this information in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, simply choose alternative dialogue options during the cutscene. If you choose not to reveal Semine’s secret to Von Bergow, your next quest will be ‘For Victory!’—marking the first major turning point where you’ll raid the bandits’ camp. You can still pursue side quests, with the exception of ‘Demons of Trosky.’
If you choose to inform Von Bergow about Semine, you will be tasked with eliminating Semine. You’ll confront Lord Semine, but his father refuses to hand him over to Von Bergow. At this stage, you can choose to support either Von Bergow or Semine.
Aligning with Von Bergow is the worst choice, as his soldiers will kill Semine and everyone nearby, setting the castle ablaze. If you side with Semine, you’ll have to fight Von Bergow’s forces. However, this still results in Semine Castle being destroyed.
Keep in mind, telling Von Bergow you’ve killed his men leads to a disastrous ending. As such, the best option in is to keep Semine’s secret. Given your lack of strong ties to Von Bergow, withholding this information seems like the most sensible choice.
