If you’re looking to sabotage a rival bathhouse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll need to get creative—and maybe a little unhygienic. During the Ill Repute quest, Henry is tasked with ruining Councillor Naaz’s experience, and one way to do that is by introducing an infestation. Here’s how to find something crawling with fleas and complete the quest.
How to Start the Ill Repute Quest
The quest begins with Betty, an aspiring bathhouse owner in Kuttenberg. After helping her with an earlier task, return a few days later to start Ill Repute. This time, you’ll need to turn Councillor Naaz against a competing bathhouse by gathering three key items:
- A flea-infested item
- Chamomile Brew (to ruin his wine)
- Fragrant Oil (to influence his preferences)
Each clue comes from a worker inside the rival bathhouse, so that’s your first stop.
Where to Find Something Infested With Fleas
While talking to the bathhouse workers, Katcha will mention that the establishment had a flea problem in the past. That gives Henry an idea: find something flea-ridden and reintroduce the problem.
Where to Get a Flea-Infested Item
Henry can’t just ask someone for a bag of fleas, but he knows where to look. Head to the beggar camp near the east gate of Kuttenberg. A short walk southeast of the camp, you’ll find a flea-ridden blanket inside a sack.
How to Use the Infested Item
Take the blanket back to the bathhouse and head upstairs. On the second floor, enter the first room on the right. Your goal is to spread fleas throughout the area, so interact with chests and baskets to complete the infestation. Be careful—bathhouse staff and customers will be around during the day, so sneaking in at night is your safest bet.
How to Pour Chamomile Brew Into the Wine
Another way to turn Councillor Naaz against the bathhouse is by tainting his drink. Meaty Mary reveals that he hates Chamomile Brew, so that’s your next target.
Where to Get Chamomile Brew
You have two options:
- Brew it yourself at an alchemy table.
- Buy it from a shop.
How to Sabotage the Wine
Once you have the brew, go to the second floor of the bathhouse. Look for a barrel of wine in the room next to the stairs. You’ll need to lockpick the door, so time your entry carefully. Once inside, pour in the chamomile to complete this part of the plan.
How to Get Fragrant Oil
The last step involves securing a specific oil that Councillor Naaz prefers. Lida, one of the bathhouse workers, will share this information—if you bribe her with a noblewoman’s dress.
Where to Find the Fragrant Oil
- Go to the third floor of the bathhouse.
- Unlock the first door you see.
- Enter the room to the right and search the small wooden cabinet.
- Lockpick the cabinet to retrieve the foreign fragrant oil.
Once you have it, return to Betty. You can either report back or give her the oil so she can use it when Councillor Naaz visits.
After planting the fleas, sabotaging the wine, and securing the oil, you’ll need to wait a few in-game days for the quest to progress. While you wait, consider securing Councillor Tuchmacher’s vote. This requires winning a duel against a fully armed opponent—without wearing armor or using a sword. If you’re struggling, drink Artemisia and Buck’s Blood potions for an edge.
By the time the dust (or fleas) settle, Naaz should be thoroughly disgusted with the bathhouse, making Betty’s business the new favorite in town.
