Cyberpunk 2077‘s latest updates have brought fresh content to the streets of Night City, including a diverse fleet of futuristic cars. But which are the best and the fastest? Here we’re running through our list of the best Cyberpunk 2077 cars and vehicles, which we’ve now updated following the 2.1 patch.
Cyberpunk 2077 Best Cars (2.12 Update)
The 2.12 update introduced six new vehicles to the game. While five out of these six are bikes, there’s also a new car for those who prefer four wheels over two. 6. Quadra Sport R-7 Chiaroscuro
After having returned to the game recently, we just had the include another vehicle that has been an absolute blast to drive: the Quadra Sport R-7 Chiaroscuro. This absolute beast is more than just a fast car; its baller design sets it apart. After all, looks matter in Night City, and nothing turns heads in quite the same way as the Chiaroscuro with its visible engine and deep red leather seats. Every detail adds to its story, giving it an energetic feel. We think its sleek color scheme offers a darker and more menacing alternative to the Vigilante.
5. Mizutani Shion “Coyote”
We’re kicking things off with the Mizutani Shion “Coyote.” The looks won’t be everybody’s cup of tea, but it excels in traversing challenging terrains and has some serious speed.
Crafted with the unforgiving Badlands in mind, the Coyote empowers you to effortlessly navigate the desert expanse at a big pace. What truly sets it apart is its seamless fusion of high-speed capabilities with intuitive handling, making it a solid choice for those after style and performance.
4. Mizutani Shion MZ2
A real 80s-esque cyberpunk beauty, fans of Japanese drift cars will love the Shion MZ2. Its streamlined aesthetics, high-performance engine, and nimble handling faithfully mirror the characteristics of real-world Japanese vehicles, akin to those produced by Toyota. What sets this car apart is its affordability, making it a wallet-friendly alternative in comparison to other sports cars featured in the game. You can unlock this car once you attain a Street Cred Level of 30.
3. Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech
We couldn’t possibly fail to include what is arguably the most iconic vehicle in the whole game. Ever since Cyberpunk 2077’s first reveal, the Quadra Turbo-R has been a pin-up for the franchise, and it’s easy to see why CDPR chose it for the role. The 80s-meets-sci-fi mobile just screams cyberpunk.
The performance of the car is also superb once you’re behind the wheel in-game, and it sounds awesome. Of course, getting the car takes some time, but it’s worth the effort. After you’ve completed the Life’s Work gig from Heywood, Jake, the character from that gig will contact you. This will trigger the Sex On Life side quest and after completing it you will get this car.
2. Rayfield Caliburn
Rayfield represents the epitome of luxury and speed within the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Among its lineup, the Caliburn model stands as the fastest vehicle in the game, capable of reaching speeds of up to 200mph. What’s even more remarkable is that you can acquire this exceptional car without spending a single eurodollar by following a specific set of steps.
Firstly, you must complete the mission “Ghost Town” and amass a Street Cred of at least 40. Afterward, an uncharted quest will emerge in the Badlands region. To access it, you’ll need to navigate through a tunnel. Once you initiate “Murk Man Returns Again Once More,” your journey will culminate with the acquisition of the Caliburn.
1. Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
And here she is! We couldn’t place the awesome new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet anywhere else on this list but numero uno. Added after the 2.1 update (and pictured above), its sleek black and yellow design turns heads in Night City. Although its specs are similar to the default Porsche 911 Turbo, acquiring this car involves a cool new quest. But really, it’s just the simple fact that it’s a damn cool car that sees it pip top spot. The ultimate samurai surely drives the 911 Turbo Cabriolet in this color scheme.
Fastest Cars in Cyberpunk 2077 2.12
After the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, there are some new speedsters in Cyberpunk 2077 worth getting your hands on.
- Herrera Outlaw GTS – The Herrera Outlaw GTS is not just a high-speed vehicle; it’s also a symbol of elegance and sophistication. This executive-class car can reach a top speed of 186 mph and is available for purchase at 92,000 Eurodollars.
- Quadra Type-66 Javelina – The Quadra Type-66 “Javelina” is a high-performance model that can reach a top speed of 189 mph. This muscle car is available for 99,000 Eurodollars.
- Rayfield Aerondight Guinevere – The Rayfield Aerondight “Guinevere” is a hypercar with a top speed of 190 mph. It’s available for 155,000 Eurodollars.
- Mizutani Shion Coyote – Despite its rugged exterior, the Mizutani Shion “Coyote” is a speedy vehicle with a top speed of 199 mph. It’s available for 77,000 Eurodollars.
- Rayfield Caliburn – The Rayfield Caliburn is the fastest car in Cyberpunk 2077, with a top speed of 211 mph. You can either buy it for 127,000 Eurodollars or acquire it for free by completing a specific quest.
