kingdom come deliverance 2 romance options

Plenty to choose from.

Unlike some RPGs, romance in KCD2 doesn’t involve settling down, getting married, or building a home with a partner. Instead, these relationships play out through unique story events and dialogue choices. While it seems like Theresa is still Henry’s canonical love interest, that doesn’t mean he can’t share some memorable moments with others along the way.

To initiate a romantic or intimate scene, look for dialogue options marked with a heart icon. Choosing this will typically lead to a cutscene, while other responses might only provide additional context or character development.

Now, let’s take a look at Henry’s potential partners.

All Romance Options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Myshka (Wedding Crashers Quest)

Myshka’s romance is lighthearted and brief, but it still counts. During the Wedding Crashers quest, Henry can dance with her at a wedding. There doesn’t appear to be a way to take things further, but it’s a well-animated and charming scene.

To share a dance with Myshka, choose the following dialogue options:

  • “Myshka doesn’t care about poems.”
  • “Nice place.”
  • “I’ve been bothering you, too.”
  • “Thanks, I’m really trying.”

Klara

During the main quest in Trosky, Henry meets Klara, who asks for help picking flowers. However, there’s more to this encounter than simple gardening.

While gathering plants with her, avoid mentioning your suspicions about the lord of the fortress. Instead, answer her riddle with “I think she’s called Klara.” This choice will trigger a romance scene.

Later, after returning to the fortress, Henry has another opportunity to romance Klara if he successfully heals all three wounded soldiers. If done correctly, she’ll invite him to share her bed, granting a combat buff for the following day.

Hans Capon

Hans Capon has two romance moments in KCD2.

The first occurs after rescuing him during For Whom the Bell Tolls—simply select the heart dialogue option in your conversation.

The second and more significant scene happens during Hunger and Despair, one of the final quests. To trigger it, visit Hans in his room and select these options:

  • “Why are you telling me this now?”
  • “We have a lot in common with them.”
  • (Kiss him).

It’s unclear whether this scene requires unlocking previous romance flags, but these choices will lead to a romantic moment with Hans.

Rosa Ruthard

Rosa’s romance takes more effort than most. You’ll need to increase your reputation with her and ensure she survives the Dancing with the Devil quest. The final romance scene happens during Oratores.

After defeating the enemies in Oratores, choose these dialogue options:

  • “It’ll be alright.”
  • “Allies are our most valuable asset.”
  • “I won’t let you go away.”
  • (Kiss Rosa).

Katherine (Possibly the Canon Romance?)

Of all Henry’s potential love interests, Katherine seems the most significant—at least based on the game’s ending.

To unlock this romance, you must complete all her quests, including solving the murder mystery in Kuttenberg and helping her catch a stalker in Sigismund’s camp.

The final romance scene occurs during Hunger and Despair, but only if you ignore Hans and head to the wall instead. Katherine will approach Henry, and choosing responses that show he cares for her will trigger a romance scene atop the castle walls.

The reason Katherine feels like the canon romance is that, during the game’s final sequence, Henry has an option to mention her as his significant other—something that doesn’t happen with any other character.

Are There More Romance Options?

These are the confirmed romance options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 so far. However, given the game’s emphasis on reactivity and player choice, there could be additional encounters, not to mention the ever-present bathhouse services.

For now, these are Henry’s main romantic pursuits—whether you’re looking for a brief fling or something more meaningful.
